Difference between Autism and Asperger Syndrome

We all have quite heard about Asperger syndrome. And it seems they are increasing cases of this condition worldwide. This syndrome is considered a form of autism, even calling them "high-performance autistic" but is not the same, and it is important to differentiate from each other.

repetitive behavior
motor area

Difference between Autism and Asperger:

It is most likely when their profession has to do with their areas of interest, areas that develop exceptionally. You need to know that every child and every person is different, and two people diagnosed with the disorder Asperger Syndrome may differ from one another, but here we are talking about the most widespread symptoms. Most important to distinguish autism is that Asperger's syndrome:

No delay in the acquisition and development of language. They have good vocabulary, becoming sometimes even pedantic

  • It occurs in most often in children
  • It is often confused with Attention Deficit
  • They are easily distracted
  • They tend to be dispersed
  • They may have learning disabilities but not for lack of brainpower, if not for its dispersion and lack of concentration
  • Although they have relationship problems, they want to have friends and are frustrated by their social difficulties
  • Difficulty understanding social roles and empathize with others
  • Asperger syndrome may originate from the third or fourth year of life (also diagnosed even in adolescence). Instead, autism is detected within months of life
