Estrogen Blocking foods can help reduce Estrogen Levels

Men and Women, who are experiencing low testosterone, often have elevated levels of the hormone estrogen. One way to remedy this excess is to try estrogen-blocking foods.

List of Estrogen Blocking Foods:

Estrogen is a hormone that can be decreased by the consumption of certain foods.

Foods that are rich sources of beta-carotene, a precursor that your body uses to make vitamin A. Dr. Natalie Ledesma, MS, RD, CSO, University of California, San Francisco, advises a daily intake of beta-carotene in the form of carrots, sweet potatoes, cantaloupe, squash or mango. Beta-carotene and compounds chemically related carotenoids are effective in reducing the growth of both positive and negative breast tumor estrogen receptor cells. The high levels of beta-carotene are associated with a reduced risk of breast cancer up to 50 percent.
