Remedies for Bad Breath or Halitosis

To avoid Stinky breath it is very important to drink lot of water to prevent the proliferation of bacteria that causes it. Try to avoid red meat and make mouthwashes.
Many people throughout their life has been through bad breath or halitosis once, usually originates in the morning, when our mouth has accumulated bacteria and is solved with a good brushing of teeth and tongue, but sometimes the problem is more serious.

5 Tips to Prevent Bad Breath

Causes of bad breath or halitosis:

Bad breath or halitosis usually is caused by poor oral hygiene, bacteria accumulate and secrete sulfur that makes us smell bad mouth.

There are foods that are more likely to have bad breath, meals are worse breath leave the garlic bread, coffee and cigarettes.

The breath may smell different ways. It is depending on how smell can have one problem or another; if it smells like feces or vomit may have a bowel obstruction if you can have fruity smell excess acetone. If you smell ammonia or fish may be due to a kidney problem.

Bad breath can be due to: a dental abscess, drink alcohol, decay, prostheses, eating certain foods such as cabbage, garlic or raw onions, coffee and other beverages, gingivitis, smoking, etc.


Natural Remedies for bad breath or halitosis:



  • Prepare mouthwash parsley; two cups of water boiled with parsley and two or three cloves (spice),



  • Drink mint tea It is effective for bad breath and digestion.



  • Chew cinnamon, cloves (spice) or anise after eating.



  • Make a hot tea peppermint or eucalyptus and Drink it after eating.



  • Brush with baking soda daily for constant bad breath.



  • Eat peach fasting help against bad morning breath.



  • For Stinky breath mix half lemon juice, 1/4 mango, some sprigs of mint and half a cup of water. Drink for one month.



  • Drink black tea.



  • Brush your teeth and floss twice a day.



  • Take vitamin C.



  • Mix 1/4 fennel, a glass of mango juice, parsley and 1/4 cup of papaya juice. Drink several glasses a day to relieve bad breath.



  • Drink a lot of water.



  • Try to eat little red meat.



  • Use mouthwashes or rinses, dental spray or chewing gum (to hide the odor).



  • Do not use mouthwashes with alcohol and other products.



  • Eat a green apple slowly.



  • Chew coffee beans.



  • Rinse your mouth with water and apple cider vinegar in equal parts.


If you make a homemade mouthwash, it is desirable that you keep it for thirty seconds, with very strong movements for it to access all areas of your mouth.
