Bags under eyes and dark circles are a common problem that many people complain about. It can be defined as darkish-blue half-moons or tape under the eye. Circles under the eyes diminish the beauty of the face, and make the person look aged, depressed, sick, tired and above all ghostly. Thus, the stubborn circles are a cause of much embarrassment but they can be easily treated with help of home remedies. The physiological reason behind dark circles is weakened blood capillaries located under the eyes. The skin that encapsulates these tiny capillaries under the eyes is very delicate and thin. Effective Home Remedies for Bags under eyes and Dark Circles:

1. Tomato, lemon and turmeric:

The dark circles and bags under eyes occurs mainly due to lack of calcium and iron in our body. Ripe red tomatoes are rich source of iron and vitamins A and C. Try this remedy for healing the dark circle. Make a thick paste mix one teaspoon of tomato juice, half teaspoon lemon juice, a pinch of turmeric powder and a pinch of chickpea flour. Mix well and apply on the affected area. Leave it for 15 minutes. Wash with clean water. Repeat this treatment once a day for a month to get rid of dark circles. Another treatment: - Mix twice equivalent proportional tomato juice in lemon juice and mix well. Apply to the affected area or the entire face with the help of a cotton ball. Leave it for 20 minutes and wash with clean water. Repeat this treatment twice a day to get rid of dark circle.


2. Lemon Juice and tomato:

The tomato is used to help with aesthetic problems for many years, which is why it tops the list of remedies to remove dark circles under the eyes. Tomatoes can not only serve as a amazing skin lightener but can also help improve blood circulation in the area where applicable. All you have to do is start mixing tomato juice with lemon juice and take a cotton ball which you must soak in tomato juice and then apply it under the eyes, leave the cotton there and take another cotton for the same with your other eye. Wait 5 minutes and rinse, then place a cold tomato slice on your eyes and let it rest for another 5 minutes and rinse.
Warning! As lemon is used in this remedy  it is important that you only use this remedy at night as sun exposure after using lemon can cause stains.

3. Peppermint and Tomato Juice:

Peppermint has cooling properties that help soothe the nerves, into states of tranquility and give vitality, which is why you can use to cool the area under the eyes, which improve blood circulation in that area and dark spots they will become increasingly less visible, if you are consistent with the application of this treatment. Take tomato juice and pour it in a bowl, then add the mint leaves. Use spoon to crush the leaves or you can grind them.  When the mixture becomes a paste, apply it under your eyes and let it sit there for 10 minutes, then you can remove it with cold water. You can repeat this procedure every night and especially the nights when you feel tired eyes, this will clarify the dark areas and will make your eyes feel less fatigued.

4. Cucumber:

Cucumber works to restore skin tissue; It has astringent, antiseptic and soothing properties. It is also a rich source of vitamins and minerals. So overall it is the best herb to remove skin discoloration. Take a fresh cucumber cut into thick slices; refrigerate at least half an hour. From then lie straight and put the slices in the area affected and leave it to act for 15 minutes. Repeat this procedure twice a day for at least a month to get rid of dark circles.
Alternative Treatment:  you can also extract cucumber juice and add in equal lemon juice; mix well. Dab in the area affected with the help of cotton ball. Leave for 15 minutes and wash with water.

5. Almond Oil and Honey:

The almond oil is the best supplement for delicate skin; it works to moisturize the skin and removes dark circles under the eyes. Mix the same amount of almonds oil and honey. Before going to bed, rub a few drops slowly around the eyes. Leave overnight. It is very effective cure, use it every day until dark circles disappear permanently.

6. Potato:

Everyone needs this useful ingredient in your kitchen without knowing its benefits. The potato is a natural bleach agent that helps rejuvenate your skin discolor; and very effective in removing bags under the eyes. Grate fresh potatoes to extract the juice. Apply in the affected area or dark circles with the help of cotton ball. Wash with water after 20 minutes. Use this treatment regularly twice a day for at least a month to get effective treatment.

7. Rose Water:

The rose water is the best natural remedy for soft and shiny skin. It is the best moisturizer that works to rejuvenate the skin tissues and removes dark circles.
Soak cotton balls in water of roses and put them on dark circle with your eyes closed. Leave it for 20 minutes and then wash with water. Repeat this procedure twice a day for at least a month to get results.

8. Coffee Grounds:

Coffee is rich in caffeine and has anti-aging properties. It is invigorating but above all promotes micro-circulation. To use coffee grounds as remedy add a few drops of lemon juice and a teaspoon of cottage cheese. Keep it in the refrigerator all day. At night apply it on the dark circles for 15 minutes; clean it with cotton and for pronounced dark circles repeat the treatment several times a week.

9. Cold Milk with Lemon:

Milk has lighteners and relaxing properties, plus it will give shine and vitality to your skin, on the other hand lemon has very strong lightening properties, if your dark spots are very deep is likely that this is the best remedy for your case. Take 2 tablespoons ice cold milk and ½ teaspoon lemon juice and mix them soak a cotton ball in the mixture and apply it under eyes. But remember to use this remedy only at night for 5 minutes and then rinse with running water to prevent spots or excessive clearance.

10. Green Apple: 

Rich in vitamin C which is a powerful antioxidant but not only that it has depigmentation properties. You can apply a few slices of green apple on your eyelids for 15 minutes to clear the dark circles or mash with baked apple pulp and apply it over your eyes for about 40 minutes.

11. Carrot:

Carrot has depigmentation properties so it is used in the composition of many cosmetics used to mitigate sunburn and skin spots produced by the action of ultraviolet rays. Mash a carrot and apply stripe - shaped mask on the dark circle under your eye for half an hour. Then remove it with cold water and see the blackish color gone.

12. Cold Water:

Cold water can constrict blood vessels under the eyes and will greatly help to reduce eye puffiness and dark circles.  Take a cloth soaked in cold water or cold milk and put it directly on your closed eyelids for several minutes.  Alternatively, you can also wrap some ice cubes in a soft napkin and place it under your eyes.  Instead of an ice pack, you can also use a bag of frozen peas, a bag of iced tea and a cold spoon.  Repeat process three to four times a day for a few weeks.


13. Coconut oil:

Massaging with coconut oil is another effective and natural way to brighten dark circles. Since it has a moisturizing, coconut oil helps to have a thin skin and prevent wrinkles.
You just have to massage a little with virgin coconut oil the lower eye area. Let it sit for a few hours and then wash your eyes. Repeat this for two or three times a day a few months until you are satisfied with the results.

14. Teabags:

Caffeine and antioxidants which are present in tea can be very beneficial to help eliminate dark circles, plus swelling under the eyes and reduces fluid retention. Cool two bags of green or black tea at least half an hour in the fridge. Place a tea bag on each eye and let it sit for about 15 minutes. Remove the tea bags and wash your face. You can repeat this treatment twice a day for a few weeks.

Another effective home remedy for dark circles is orange juice. Mix some orange juice with a few drops of glycerin and apply this mixture on dark circles. Not only will diminish dark circles also give a natural glow to the eyes.

Pineapples have enzymes that greatly promote the elasticity of our skin. Outside they moisturize the skin and help eliminate dead skin cells. 18. Rose petals: 

Boil rose petals for two hours in a covered container. Strain and allowed to cool, apply it with cotton pieces and after 5 minutes remove it with cold water.

Beat egg white until stiff and add liquid glycerin. Apply to the eye area and let stand for a few minutes until the mixture is dry. Remove it with warm water.

20. Avocado and Yogurt:  

Prepare a mask of avocado with yogurt will help moisturize skin and eliminate dark circles that are often caused by fluid retention.

21. Parsley:

Parsley is ideal for all types of skin blemishes for its bleaching properties. Crushes a sprig of parsley and apply the resulting juice on the dark circle for about 10 minutes. Then wash the area with cold water.

22. Hamamelis:

Hamamelis can help reduce inflammation and reduce dark circles if you dilute a few drops of this plant extract in a little water and apply the mixture in the form of cold compresses on your eyes for 10 to 15 minutes.

23. Marjoram:

Ingredients

1 tablespoon almond oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon wheat germ oil
30 drops of oil Nigella (black cumin)
1 teaspoon of vitamin E oil
2 tablespoons Buckeye

Instructions

Take all ingredients and pour into a blender.
Mix well until a paste forms.
Apply the paste under the eyes and leave on for 30 minutes.
