Shingles: Natural Cure, Causes and Signs

Shingles (also called herpes zoster) is an infection of the skin and the nervous system that primarily affects people over 60 years. This infectious disease is caused by the reactivation of varicella zoster virus (VZV). Cases of herpes zoster in the family and stress can increase the risk, especially in people over 50 years. Decreased immune seems the most common cause. Below are some natural cures for shingles pain, it is important to start treatment quickly and visit your doctor as soon as possible.

What are the signs of shingles?

The symptoms of shingles may be shooting pains, burning sensations or harsh pain, usually on one side of the body or face. These pains are often accompanied by fever, chills, headache or nausea.
Other symptoms of the herpes zoster virus include:
Tingling
 the itching and redness followed by the need to scratch a few days later
Groups or plates of small cutaneous vesicles
A deep burning sensation
Severe pain or twinges: The pain may be sporadic or of long duration.


What is the cause of shingles?

Shingles is a reactivation of the herpes varicella virus. If you have had chickenpox, the virus remains dormant in your nerve roots. In some individuals, the virus wakes up and causes shingles instead of chickenpox. People with weak immune systems are vulnerable to virus reactivation of herpes zoster.
The factors that weaken the immune system are:
Aging
The wounds
Diseases
Some medical treatments

Natural cure for shingles pain: 

Although shingles requires medical consultation and treatment in general by conventional medicines (antiviral), natural remedies below can help relieve the pain of shingles:

Apple cider vinegar (ACV):

Use a cotton ball, dab ACV directly on the affected area. It may relief pain within 5-10 minutes. Continue with direct application of ACV once or twice daily until rash disappear. It will also help to heal the blisters more rapidly


Vitamin C:

Since vitamin C helps to strengthen our immune system. So make a habit of taking Vitamin C in large quantities, which is between 2000 to 4000 mg

Cayenne Pepper and Aloe vera gel:

Make a paste by adding a small amount of cayenne pepper and aloe vera gel. Apply it to the affected area. You will get immediate relief from the pain.

Aspirin Tablet:

Crush two aspirin tablets and mix this powder in 2 tablespoons of chloroform or alcohol. Apply this prepared mixture on the affected area. This mixture will provide a very good relief.

Advice:
You should not wear tight clothes, wool or itchy material and you should stay out of the heat, to prevent your symptoms worsen.
